Dr. Debashish Sanyal, Dean IIPS, has done his Ph.D in the area of Finance. He is a merit holder of the Institute of Cost and Works Accountant of India. He holds a Master Degree from Calcutta University.
Dr. Sanyal possesses graduate level teaching and academic administration experience of over 25 years. He has contributed significantly towards developing international linkages, launching new programs. He has been responsible for obtaining accreditation for both the Indian business schools, which have been accredited so far by AMBA.
Prior to NMIMS, he held important positions of Dean (Academic Program) at Management Development Institute (MDI), India and Joint Director at Institute of Cost and Works Accountant of India (ICWAI). He also headed the EMBA program at S.P. Jain Center of Management, Singapore.
He has to his credit publications in International and National Journals. He has chaired number of panels in International and National conferences and has been key resource person for various seminars across the world.
